lam informed that
during the school holiday periods occasional matinees are shown
for the children,but generally speaking they are not catered for
ctus mainly to insufficient patronage.
Inquiries reveal that ir

There are 188 seats up stairs in
the theatre,descrihed as standard in size, leatherette spring
seat with back padding,wood arm rests, folding type. Thwn stairs
there are 739 seats consisting of back and front stall seating*
aae back stall seats are much the same as those up stairs,except
that they have a little less padding. The front stall seats are
v the padded type, no spnings,and are of the st.derd nze.

Viith regard to the types of programmes as far
he ascertained, they are the same as are exhibited by the
Coy, at Woliongong, Port Kembla and other Coastal towns. Most
of the programmes are suitable for general exhibition, and are a!
fair average variety, in fact some of the programmes are often
shown at Kiama and other centres by the Propnietors,before they
are exhibited in Sydney,and generally speaking I would think
compared with other towns so far as theIr, suitability for both
adults end children are concerned.
