In continuation of rn' letter of the 29th June, 1
wish to state that a report has now been received in regard
to conditions at the Kiama Picture Theatre. The information
obtained in respect of the various headings contained in

matinees are given but there is not sufficient support to
permit the proprietors to give regular Saturday afternoon
performances.

The seating is described as leatherette spring tye
with back padding and wooden arinrests in the circle, and in
t:ie stalls some of the seats are similar to those in the
circle; the back stalls, while padded, are not luite as
well na lded as the other seats.
It has been reported that the types of programmes
generally are the same as those exhibited at Port Kembla and
other coastal towns and are of fair average variety.
I note that your org'anisation vishes to make
suggestions for improvements, and if these are forwarded
to this Deartient the matter will be tken u vith the
