Dubbo West Public School - Accommodation.
The provision of three additional classrooms and a library was
shown on the priority accommodation list for 1966 submitted
recently.

11 classrooms for 11 class groups plus appropriate offices.
Additional Accommodation Required.
The survey of enrolment indicates steady expansion and
confirms the need for the three additional Primary classrooms
already envisaged as well as a library.
The Housing Commission has recently acuired a large area
of land in test Dubbo for home building and a large private
housing sub-division has also been approved by the Dubbo Municipal
Council.
The siting of the new building will need to be determined
after the preparation of a development plan.

Insulation of building, fly screens, adequate paths and
paving.

Accordingly it is RECOMMENDED that approval be given to the
erection of a new building in brick veneer containing three
Primary clas s rooms and a library with extras as shown to be sited
in accordance with the development plan and to be ready for
occupation from the beginning of the 1966 school year.
