It may be anticipated that some pupilswill be forced to look elsewhere for employment and to commandbetter qualifications if they are to succeed. A steady growthin senior school enrolments may result. In the opinion ofGeological Survey, Mines Department, and of Division ofIndustrial Development, Treasury, there is no reason to fearfor the future development of Broken Hill if world marketprices recover and remain stable. The Teachers' Federation has made representationsseeking the establishment of a second high school at Broken Hill.3 OF li.6r -iu*- t8•KDraft letter is submitted for the Minister's signature4)approved (2643X).)SIGNED BY MINISTER ANC) PESPAT(41 62Director of Seco1 4 SE14961ary Education.e.-‘-------,x-----/A-ei. 42470 v/
