As I pointed out in my report of the 30th. May dealing
with the whole of the above school premises, classes are
operating on the Boys School balconies under very trying
conditions for the women teachers and the scholars.
Insufficient accommodation inside the main building compels
the carrying on of classes on the balcony, where: at the
present time the winds are bitterly cold. A portion of the
balcony should he enclosed immediately. Such enclosure
would not interfere with any suggested additions referred to
in my general report, as the enclosed portion in this case
would eventually become a much needed teachers' room.
A plan and specification showing the proposal, together
with three tenders herewith.

I recommend the acceptance of Mr. Fairweather's tender.
Several downpipes of this building are in a very bad
condition causing damp in the walls. I have included the
repair to same in the specification as needing urgent
attention.
