Dear Sir:
We wish to draw your attention to
our letter TBM.879 of the llth February wih
reference to the loss of one of three packages addressed to the Agent General, London,
under cover of Consignment Note 49682.

For your information we have carried out extensive enquiries at this station
in an attempt to determine the whereabouts
of this article, but have only been successful in determining that the whole three pack2 ages were definitely despatched from Sydney
to the consignee.
In addition we have contacted BOAC
London and requested them to furnish us fully
with the results of their investigations in
this incident, but they also have been unsuccessful in attempting to trace its whereabouts.
Please accept our apologies, for this
unfortunate incident, and if in the future any
information is received leading to the whereabouts of same, it will be our pleasure to advise you accordingly.
