Dear Mr. McGirr,
H.R.h. Princess Elizabeth - Wedding_yresents.
refer to your letter No. 47/3607 of 23rd January
relating to the above subject.
Enquiries were a t once made of St. James's Palace
as to hick the Wedaing Presents were received. After
careful check a reply has been received to the effect that
the contents of the two cases delivered, personally by me on
19th November were six boxes in each of which was one pair
of blankets.
It would, therefore, appear that the miseing parcel
is the one which contained throe r-e.s.
aith regard to the third paragraph of your letter, it
might be mentioned that the two packages which were delivered
to the Palace were handed over unopened, as received.
No further information has been obtatIckh)at this end
to the missing package.
