Hiring Agreement dated the :A:).th of Seotember 1941 at a terms price of £465/7/6,
Insurance for the second. year
and Insurance Premium for the first year
£10/12/9, Stamp Duty 19/6 and Main Roads Permit 2/6, a total of £48911513.
We received a cash payment of £146/2/- and Promissory Notes collateral
to the Agreement coverimg the balance payable :monthly from the 1st of Novemier 1941
to the 1st of July 194 3 inclusive. The cash price of the Truck at the time of
delivery was £4327-I- to which is to be added the insurance for first and second
years and tItEan,.-) duty and permit, a total or £45611419. The interest included in
the Agreement for accommodation amounts to -E.33/.16.
Lou will, therefore, appreciate frau the foregoing that the balance
owing on a cash, basis at the time or delivery was £45611419 less £146/ 2/- paid,
an amount of 131071219, end the interest that we would have been entitled to up
to the 26th of October 1941, the date of death, was 312.1-, making a total of
.L313114/9 that we would have been prepared to accept at the 26th of October 1941
if full settlaaent a. ad. been made at that time.
