Owing to the abnormal dry season the rsult has
been dsa4ontn. Yet the germination and growth of a largo
proportion ot plants s, in my opinion
sufficient to prove
(I) That Linseed will grow in the Dubbo District.
(2) That it will stand a great deal of dry weather. The
young plants have shown no slam of wng when vhsat, oats an'
and grass have dried right 14.
(6) That the Spring appears to be t.11. right time to
sow the seed.
The extent of the experiment is shown by tht tabulated
fizures on a eeparate sheet.
The sheet will also show
the abnormal dry season exerenced.
