ACT.

PARKS AND WILDLIFE
Approval was given to the recommendations contained in
Cabinet Minute 90-139, dated 17th May, 1990, submitted
by the Minister for the Environment, in relation to this
matter, subject to:*
in Recommendation 3.3, "statutory rule" replacing
"statutory instrument", and clarification of the
legal impact of disallowance.
The Minister for the Environment is to take the
necessary action to give effect to Cabinet's decision,
including the preparation of the necessary legislation.

PROPOSED AMENDMENTS TO THE GAMING AND BETTING ACT, 1912
THE BOOKMAKERS (TAXATION) ACT, 1917 AND THE RACING
TAXATION (BETTING TAX) ACT, 1952.
Approval was given to the recommendations contained in
Cabinet Minute 90-42, dated 16th March, 1990, submitted
by the Minister for Sport and Recreation, and Racing, in
relation to this matter.
The Minister for Sport and Recreation, is to take the
necessary action to give effect to Cabinet's decision,
including the preparation of the necessary legislation.
