PROPOSED LEGISLATION TO ESTABLISH A NSW VOCATIONAL
EDUCATION AND TRAINING ACCREDITATION BOARD.
Approval was given to the recommendations contained in
Cabinet Minute 90-76, dated 4th April, 1990, submitted
by the Minister for Education and Youth Affairs, in
relation to this matter.
The Minister for Education and Youth Affairs is to take
the necessary action to give effect to Cabinet's
decision, including the preparation of the necessary
legislation.

PROPOSED LEGISLATION TO ESTABLISH TAFECOM.
Consideration was given to the proposals contained in
Cabinet Minute 90-117, dated 3rd May, 1990, submitted by
the Minister for Education and Youth Affairs, in
relation to this matter.

Cabinet decided that a Bill is to be released as a draft
attached to the final Scott Report.
The Minister for Education and Youth Affairs, is to take
the necessary action to give effect to Cabinet's
decision, including the preparation of the necessary
legislation.
