INDUSTRIAL RELATIONS BILL, 1990, INDUSTRIAL COURT BILL,
1990 AND COGNATE BILL.
Approval was given to the provisions of the Industrial
Relations Bill, 1990, Industrial Court Bill, 1990 and
Cognate Bill, as summarised in Cabinet Minute 90-125,
dated 7th May, 1990, submitted by the Minister for
Industrial Relations and Employment in relation to this
matter, subject to:*
•
the adoption of the concerns of the President of
the Industrial Commission in his letter of 15th
May, 1990; and
resolution of Cabinet Office concerns concerning
Clause 80 of the Industrial Relations Bill.
PROPOSED AMENDMENTS TO THE CROWN ADVOCATE ACT, 1979 AND
THE SOLICITOR GENERAL ACT, 1969.
•
Consideration was given to the recommendation contained
in Cabinet Minute 90-94, dated 18th April, 1990,
submitted by the Attorney General, in relation to this
matter.
Cabinet decided that the proposal be approved in respect
of honorary or voluntary activities only.
