CONSTITUTIONAL RECOGNITION OF LOCAL GOVERNMENT
Consideration was given to the recommendations contained
in Cabinet Minute 90-87, dated 9th April, 1990,
submitted by the Minister for Local Government, and
Planning, in relation to this matter.
Cabinet decided as follows:Recommendation 3 - approved.
Recommendation 4 - not approved.
The Minister for Local Government, and Planning is to
take the necessary action to give effect to Cabinet's
decision, including the preparation of the necessary
legislation.
14.
MULTIFUNCTION POLIS (MFP) - NSW GOVERNMENT FINAL
PROPOSAL TO THE JOINT FEASIBILITY STUDY.
Approval was given to the recommendations contained in
Cabinet Minute 90-126, dated 7th May, 1990, submitted by
the Deputy Premier, Minister for State Development, and
Public Works, in relation to this matter,
subject to:the proposals being modified to delete any firm
concessions or commitments beyond those already
conveyed to the Commonwealth.
The Deputy Premier, Minister for State Development, and
Public Works is to take the necessary action to give
effect to Cabinet's decision.

AMBULANCE SERVICES BILL, 1990
Approval was given to the provisions of the Ambulance
Services Bill, 1990, as summarised in Cabinet Minute
90-121, dated 2nd May, 1990, submitted by the Minister
for Health, and Arts, in relation to this matter.
