AMENDMENT OF LAND TAX LEGISLATION TO REMOVE ANOMALIES
AND IMPROVE ADMINISTRATION.

Approval was given to the recommendations contained in
Cabinet Minute 89-460, dated 12th December, 1989,
submitted by the Premier, Treasurer, and Minister for
Ethnic Affairs, in relation to this matter, including
the preparation of the necessary legislation.
PROPOSED AMENDMENTS TO THE LIQUOR ACT, 1982 AND
REGISTERED CLUBS ACT, 1976.

Approval was given to the recommendations contained in
Cabinet Minute 89-446, dated 27th November, 1989,
submitted by the Chief Secretary, and Minister for
Tourism, in relation to this matter; subject to:*
in Recommendation 3.5, to the responsibility for
objections and disciplinary proceedings, passing to
the Commissioner for Police.
The Chief Secretary, and Minister for Tourism is to take
the necessary action to give effect to Cabinet's
decision, including the preparation of the necessary
legislation.
