PROPOSED NATIONAL PARKS (SPECIAL PROVISIONS) ACT, 1990.
Approval was given to the recommendations contained in
Cabinet Minute 90-81, dated 5th April, 1990, submitted
by the Minister for the Environment, in relation to this
matter.
The Minister for the Environment is to take the
necessary action to give effect to Cabinet's decision,
including the preparation of the necessary legislation.
PROPOSED AMENDMENTS TO THE GAMING AND BETTING ACT, 1912,
THE BOOKMAKERS (TAXATION) ACT, 1917 AND THE RACING
TAXATION (BETTING TAX) ACT, 1952.
Consideration of Cabinet Minute 90-42, dated 16th March,
1990, submitted by the Minister for Sport and
Recreation, and Racing, in relation to this matter was
deferred.
PROPOSED LEGISLATION TO ESTABLISH A SINGLE LICENCE
REGIME FOR SERVICE STATIONS.
Consideration of Cabinet Minute 90-61, dated 26th March,
1990, submitted by the Minister for Business and
Consumer Affairs, in relation to this matter was
deferred to the next meeting.
