PROPOSED LEGISLATION TO REQUIRE PRIVATE SECTOR
CEMETERIES, CREMATORIA AND FUNERAL PARLOURS IN NEW SOUTH
WALES TO OPERATE FROM MONDAY TO FRIDAY, WITH THE
EXCEPTION OF PUBLIC HOLIDAYS, THROUGHOUT THE YEAR.
Approval was given to the recommendations contained in
Cabinet Minute 90-58, dated 22nd March, 1990, submitted
by the Minister for Industrial Relations and Employment,
in relation to this matter.

The Minister for Industrial Relations and Employment is
to take the necessary action to give effect to Cabinet's
decision, including the preparation of the necessary
legislation.
NEW SOUTH WALES TOURISM DEVELOPMENT STRATEGY.
Approval was given to the recommendations contained in
Cabinet Minute 90-52, dated 23rd March, 1990, submitted
jointly by the Deputy Premier, Minister for State
Development, and Public Works, and the Chief Secretary,
and Minister for Tourism, in relation to this matter,
subject to:-

the amendments outlined in the letter from the
Chief Secretary, and Minister for Tourism of 2nd
4April, 1990.
The Chief Secretary, and Minister for Tourism is to take
the necessary action to give effect to Cabinet's
decision.
