CORPORATIONS) AMENDMENT
BILL, 1990.
Approval was given to the provisions of the Legal
Profession (Solicitor Corporations) Amendment Bill,
1990, as summarised in Cabinet Minute 90-72, dated 2nd
April, 1990, submitted by the Attorney General, in
relation to this mattter.
PROPOSED REPEAL OF THE AMBULANCE SERVICES ACT, 1976.

Approval was given to the recommendations contained in
Cabinet Minute 90-48, dated 22nd March, 1990, submitted
by the Minister for Health, and Arts, in relation to
this mattter, subject to:*
the Minister for Health, and Arts reporting back to
Cabinet on a title other than "New South Wales
Ambulance Services Corporation"; and
amendment of the power to invest and dispose of
funds held on trust, in line with the concerns
expressed by the Attorney General in his letter of
29th March, 1990.
The Minister for Health, and Arts is to take the
necessary action to give effect to Cabinet's decision,
including the preparation of the necessary legislation.
