MAJOR INVESTMENT PROJECTS BEING UNDERTAKEN BY THE
DEPARTMENT OF STATE DEVELOPMENT.
Approval was given to the recommendations contained in
Cabinet Minute 90-51, dated 23rd March, 1990, submitted
by the Minister for State Development, and Public Works,
in relation to this mattter.
The Minister for State Development, and Public Works is
to take the necessary action to give effect to Cabinet's
decision.

APPOINTMENT OF ASSISTANT COMMISSIONER TO THE INDEPENDENT
COMMISSION AGAINST CORRUPTION.
Approval was given to a recommendation being made to the
Governor-in-Council that the lion. Michael Manifold
Helsham, Q.C., he appointed as Assistant Commissioner,
Independent Commission Against Corruption, for a period
of four months, as proposed in Cabinet Minute 90-60,
dated 26th March, 1990, submitted by the Premier,
Treasurer and Minister for Ethnic Affairs, in relation
to this mattter.

PROPOSED AMENDMENTS TO THE ABORIGINAL LAND RIGHTS ACT,
1983.
Approval was given to the recommendations contained in
Cabinet Minute 90-71, dated 30th March, 1990, submitted
by the Premier, Treasurer and Minister for Ethnic
Affairs, in relation to this mattter, including the
preparation of the necessary legislation.
