REPEAL OF SMALL BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION ACT,
1984.
Consideration was given to the proposals contained in
Cabinet Minute 90-15, dated 15th February, 1990,
submitted by the Minister for Business and Consumer
Affairs, in relation to this matter.
Cabinet decided as follows:Recommendation 3.1.1. - not approved
Recommendation 3.1.2. - approved.
Recommendation 3.1.3. - Minister for Business and
Consumer Affairs to report back to Cabinet.
The Minister for Business and Consumer Affairs is to
take the necessary action to give effect to Cabinet's
decision, including the preparation of the necessary
legislation.

PROPOSED LEGISLATION TO REFORM THE NEW SOUTH WALES
INDUSTRIAL RELATIONS SYSTEM.
Approval was given to the recommendations contained in
Cabinet Minute 90-27, dated 2nd March, 1990, submitted
by the Minister for Industrial Relations and Employment,
in relation to this matter; subject to:Recommendation 3.4 - the Minister addressing
concerns with regard to cross-vesting with the
Australian Industrial Relations Commission;

Recommendation 3.40 - seeking to define
conscientious objection more broadly in drafting;
the Minister and the Attorney General, resolving
implementation questions concerning the proposed
Industrial Court; prior to submitting the Bill
Minute to Cabinet;
the Minister meeting with the Premier on personal
grievance procedures.
Recommendations 3.58 to 3.65 - which were withdrawn
by the Minister.
The Minister for Industrial Relations and Employment is
to take the necessary action to give effect to Cabinet's
decision, including the preparation of the necessary
legislation.
