PROPOSED AMENDMENTS TO LEGISLATION TO REFORM COURT
PROCEDURE IN CHILD SEXUAL ASSAULT HEARINGS.
Approval was given to the recommendations contained in
Cabinet Minute 89-451, dated 1st December, 1989,
submitted by the Attorney General, in relation to this
matter.
The Attorney General is to take the necessary action to
give effect to Cabinet's decision, including the
preparation of the necessary legislation.
PROPOSED AMENDMENTS TO THE TOTALIZATOR (OFF-COURSE
BETTING) ACT, 1964.
Approval was given to the recommendations contained in
Cabinet Minute 89-448, dated 30th November, 1989,
submitted by the Minister for Sport and Recreation, and
Racing, in relation to this matter; subject to:*
resolution of the Attorney-General's concerns on
international enforcement.
The Minister for Sport and Recreation, and Racing is to
take the necessary action to give effect to Cabinet's
decision, including the preparation of the necessary
legislation.
