RE-APPOINTMENT OF DIRECTOR-GENERAL, DEPARTMENT OF
CORRECTIVE SERVICES.
Approval was given to a recommendation being made to the
Governor- in-Council that Mr. Angus Duncan Macrae Graham
be re-appointed as Director-General, Department of
Corrective Services, for a period of one year, as
proposed in Cabinet Minute 90-340, dated 30th November,
1990, submitted by the Minister for Corrective Services,
in relation to this matter.
The Minister for Corrective Services is to take the
necessary action to give effect to Cabinet's decision.

LOCAL GOVERNMENT (BUILDING APPLICATIONS) AMENDMENT
BILL 1990.
Approval was given to the provisions of the Local
Government (Building Applications) Amendment Bill, 1990,
as summarised in Cabinet Minute 90-342, dated 3rd
December, 1990, submitted by the Minister for Local
Government, and Planning, in relation to this matter,
subject to:-

the Bill being redrafted so that all decisions are
validated retrospectively, except those where a
challenge has been lodged with the Court prior to
the announcement by the Minister for Local
Government, and Planning, of the Government's
intention.
