PROPOSED REPEAL OF THE USURY, BILLS OF LADING AND
WRITTEN MEMORANDA ACT, 1902.
Approval was given to the recommendations contained in
Cabinet Minute 89-387, dated 9th November, 1989,
submitted by the Attorney General, in relation to this
matter.
The Attorney General is to take the necessary action to
give effect to Cabinet's decision, including the
preparation of the necessary legislation.
PROPOSED AMENDMENT TO THE CRIMES ACT, 1900 AND THE JURY
ACT, 1977.
Approval was given to the recommendations contained in
Cabinet Minute 89-416, dated 7th November, 1989,
submitted by the Attorney General, in relation to this
matter; subject to:*
the inclusion of the changes agreed to in the
Attorney General's letter of 10th January, 1990.
The Attorney General is to take the necessary action to
give effect to Cabinet's decision, including the
preparation of the necessary legislation.
