BAIL (AMENDMENT) BILL 1990.
Approval was given to the provisions of the Bail
(Amendment) Bill, 1990, as summarised in Cabinet Minute
90-264, dated 23rd October, 1990, submitted by the
Attorney General, in relation to this matter.

COAL MINING INDUSTRY LONG SERVICE LEAVE (AMENDMENT) BILL
1990.
Approval was given to the provisions of the Coal Mining
Industry Long Service Leave (Amendment) Bill, 1990, as
summarised in Cabinet Minute 90-265, dated 24th October,
1990, submitted by the Minister for Industrial
Relations, and Minister for Further Education, Training
and Employment, in relation to this matter.
6.
PROPOSED LEGISLATION TO ABOLISH COMPULSORY
RETIREMENT.
Approval was given to the recommendations contained in
Cabinet Minute 90-236, dated 28th Septemer, 1990,
submitted by the Attorney General, in relation to this
matter, subject to:*
recommendation 3.1(i)(d), and the question of
increased resources, being deferred for
consideration and discussion between the Premier,
Attorney General, Treasury and the
Anti-Discrimination Board.
The Attorney General is to take the necessary action to
give effect to Cabinet's decision, including the
preparation of the necessary legislation.
