PROPOSAL TO AMEND THE ENVIRONMENTAL OFFENCES AND
PENALTIES ACT, 1989.
Consideration of Cabinet Minute 90-172, dated 21st
August, 1990, submitted by the Minister for the
Environment, in relation to this matter was deferred.
•
PROPOSED AMENDMENTS TO THE LIQUOR ACT
REGISTERED CLUBS ACT 1976.
1902 AND THE
Approval was given to the recommendations contained in
Cabinet Minute 90-195, dated 5th September, 1990,
submitted by the Chief Secretary, and Minister for Water
Resources, in relation to this matter, subject to:*
the Chief Secretary addressing the impact on the
value of licences;
the Chief Secretary reporting back to Cabinet on
the question of the introduction of status cards,
and the amendments agreed to in his letter of 3rd
October, 1990.

Cabinet did not approve of the proposed lodgement or
serving of documents by facsimile (paragraph 4.48
refers).
The Chief Secretary, and Minister for Water Resources is
to take the necessary action to give effect to Cabinet's
decision, including the preparation of the necessary
legislation.
