LOTTERIES AND ART UNIONS (AMENDMENT) BILL, 1990.
Approval was given to the provisions of the Lotteries
and Art Unions (Amendment) Bill, 1990, as summarised in
Cabinet Minute 90-228, dated 27th September, 1990,
submitted by the Chief Secretary, and Minister for Water
Resources, in relation to this matter.
OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH AND SAFETY LEGISLATION (AMENDMENT)
BILL 1990, WORKERS COMPENSATION (AMENDMENT) BILL 1990.
Approval was given to the provisions of the Occupational
Health and Safety Legislation (Amendment) Bill, 1990,
Workers Compensation (Amendment) Bill, 1990, as
summarised in Cabinet Minute 90-225, dated 25th
September, 1990, submitted by the Minister for
Industrial Relations, and Minister for Further
Education, Training and Employment, in relation to this
matter.
REFORM OF THE EVIDENCE ACT, 1898.
Approval was given to the preparation of an exposure
draft Bill, as proposed in Cabinet Minute 90-162, dated
13th August, 1990, submitted by the Attorney General, in
relation to this matter.
Cabinet also decided that the Attorney General is to
bring the Bill back to Cabinet before public exposure.
The Attorney General is to take the necessary action to
give effect to Cabinet's decision.
