PROPOSED AMENDMENTS TO THE OATHS ACT 1900 AND THE
JUSTICES ACT 1902 REGARDING THE ADMISSIBILITY OF
EVIDENCE GIVEN BY CHILDREN.
Approval was given to the recommendations contained in
Cabinet Minute 90-179, dated 29th August, 1990,
submitted by the Attorney General, in relation to this
matter, subject to:
consultation with affected Ministers during the
drafting stage.
The Attorney General is to take the necessary action to
give effect to Cabinet's decision, including the
preparation of the necessary legislation.

PROPOSED REAPPOINTMENT OF LICENSING MAGISTRATES.
Approval was given to a recommendation being made to the
Governor-in-Council that Mr. Philip Gordon Harvey and
Mr. James Lawrence Swanson be reappointed as Licensing
Magistrates, for a period of 12 months commencing on
26th September, 1990, as proposed in Cabinet Minute
90-214, dated 14th September, 1990, submitted by the
Attorney General, in relation to this matter.
The Attorney General is to take the necessary action to
give effect to Cabinet's decision.
