WATER ADMINISTRATION REFORMS - STAGE 3.
Approval was given to the recommendations contained in
Cabinet Minute 89-462, dated 19th December, 1989,
submitted by the then Minister for Natural Resources, in
relation to this matter, subject to:*
•
the inclusion of the amendments outlined in the
letter dated 24th July, 1990, from the then
Minister for Natural Resources; and
consultation with all affected Ministers during the
drafting of the Bill and Regulations.
The Minister for Water Resources is to take the
necessary action to give effect to Cabinet's decision,
including the preparation of the necessary legislation.
AMENDMENT TO SECTION 34 OF THE PRISONS ACT, 1952.
•
Approval was not given to the recommendations contained
in Cabinet Minute 90-142, dated 24th May, 1990,
submitted by the Minister for Corrective Services, in
relation to this matter.
It was decided that The Cabinet Office would develop
proposals to deter escapes from New South Wales prisons.
