RE-ORGANISATION OF THE BOARD OF FIRE COMMISSIONERS OF
NEW SOUTH WALES.
Approval in principle was given to the recommendations
contained in Cabinet Minute 89-182, dated 2nd May, 1989,
submitted by the Minister for Police and Emergency
Services in relation to this matter, subject to:*
•
consultation with the Attorney General, the
Minister for Industrial Relations, and the Minister
for Local Government, in the drafting of the
legislation.
The Minister for Police and Emergency Services is to
take the necessary action to give effect to Cabinet's
decision, including the preparation of the necessary
legislation.
AMENDMENT TO THE STATE EMERGENCY SERVICES AND CIVIL
DEFENCE ACT, NO. 11, 1972.
Approval was given to the recommendations contained in
Cabinet Minute 89-185, dated 4th May, 1989, submitted by
the Minister for Police and Emergency Services in
relation to this matter.

The Minister for Police and Emergency Services is to
take the necessary action to give effect to Cabinet's
decision, including the preparation of the necessary
legislation.
