STANDARD TIME (AMENDMENT) BILL.
Approval was given to the provisions of the Standard
Time (Amendment) Bill, 1989, as summarised in Cabinet
Minute 89-30, dated 14th February, 1989, submitted by
the Attorney General in relation to this matter.
PROPOSED AMENDMENT OF LEGISLATION RELATING TO BUSINESS
FRANCHISE LICENCES.

Approval was given to the recommendations contained in
Cabinet Minute 88-415, dated 28th November, 1988,
submitted by the Premier, Treasurer, and Minister for
Ethnic Affairs, in relation to this matter, including
the preparation of the necessary legislation, subject
to:* Treasury discussions with the Minister for
Business and Consumer Affairs, and the Chief
Secretary.
PROPOSED AMENDMENT TO REGISTRATION OF STOCK BRANDS.

Approval was given to the recommendations contained in
Cabinet Minute 88-178, dated 4th August, 1988, submitted
by the Minister for Agriculture and Rural Affairs, in
relation to this matter.
The Minister for Agriculture and Rural Affairs is to
take the necessary action to give effect to Cabinet's
decision, including the preparation of the necessary
legislation.
PROPOSED AMENDMENTS TO THE PASTURES PROTECTION ACT, 1934
- TRAVELLING STOCK.
Approval was given to the recommendations contained in
Cabinet Minute 88-179, dated 4th August, 1988, submitted
by the Minister for Agriculture and Rural Affairs, in
relation to this matter.
The Minister for Agriculture and Rural Affairs is to
take the necessary action to give effect to Cabinet's
decision, including the preparation of the necessary
legislation.
