Football Pools (Amendment) Bill, 1989, as summarised in
Cabinet Minute 89-186, dated 5th May, 1989, submitted by
the Chief Secretary and Minister for Tourism in relation
to this matter.
PUBLIC HEALTH (AMENDMENT) BILL, 1989.
Approval was given to the provisions of the Public
Health (Amendment) Bill, 1989, as summarised in Cabinet
Minute 89-187, dated 8th May, 1989, submitted by the
Minister for Health, and Arts in relation to this
matter, subject to:*
there being no provision for a "daily penalty"; and

the penalty structure being in accordance with the
proposals outlined in the letter from the Attorney
General of 8th May, 1989.
PROPOSED FURTHER AMENDMENT TO THE RESIDENTIAL TENANCIES
(AMENDMENT) BILL, 1989.
Approval was given to the provisions of the Proposed
Further Amendment to the Residential Tenancies
(Amendment) Bill 1989, as summarised in Cabinet Minute
89-189, dated 8th May, 1989, submitted by the Minister
for Housing, in relation to this matter.
RURAL ASSISTANCE BILL, 1989 AND COGNATE BILL..
Approval was given to the provisions of the Rural
Assistance Bill, 1989 and Cognate Bill, as summarised in
Cabinet Minute 89-188, dated 5th May, 1989, submitted
by the Minister for Agriculture and Rural Affairs in
relation to this matter.
