1987 AND ASSOCIATED LEGISLATION.
The Minister for Industrial Relations and Employment
withdrew his further advice to Cabinet dated 1st May,
1989, relating to this matter.
DUST DISEASES TRIBUNAL BILL, 1989 AND COGANTE BILLS.
Approval was given to the provisions of the Dust
Diseases Tribunal Bill, 1989, and Cognate Bills, as
summarised in Cabinet Minute 89-176, dated 1st May,
1989, submitted by the Attorney General in relation to
this matter.

MARINE ADMINISTRATION BILL, 1989.
Approval was given to the provisions of the Marine
Administration Bill, 1989, as summarised in Cabinet
Minute 89-177, dated 1st May, 1989, submitted by the
Minister for Transport in relation to this matter;
subject to:the proposed "corporations" being called
"authorities";
a Port of Eden Advisory Committee being
incorporated in the Bill; and
the continuation of the Inter-Departmental
Committee on Waterways Management to supervise the
process of change.
