The Premier's report was noted.

PROPOSED AMENDMENT TO THE DENTISTS ACT, 1934.
Approval was given to the recommendations contained in
Cabinet Minute 89-88, dated 21st March, 1989, submitted
by the Minister for Health, and Arts in relation to this
matter, subject to:-
•
recommendations 3.12 and 3.13 which were withdrawn
by the Minister for Health, and Arts;
a provision being included to ensure that fees
cover operating costs, leaving any surplus for
education and research;
consultation with the Attorney General on
penalties; the extent of family membership for
incorporation purposes; and on a provision to
ensure civil liability is not avoided through
incorporation.
The Minister for Health, and Arts is to take the
necessary action to give effect to Cabinet's decision,
including the preparation of the necessary legislation.
