PROPOSED AMENDMENTS TO THE WORKERS COMPENSATION ACT
1987, AND ASSOCIATED LEGISLATION.
Consideration was given to the proposals contained in
Cabinet Minute 89-115, dated 5th April, 1989, submitted
by the Minister for Industrial Relations and Employment,
in relation to this matter.

Approval in principle was given to the prospective
scheme. The Minister for Industrial Relations and
Employment is to report back to Cabinet on the details.
