AMENDMENT TO THE BICENTENNIAL ••
TRUST ACT.
Approval was given to the recommendation contained in
Cabinet Minute 89-153, dated 17th April, 1989, submitted
by the Minister for the Environment in relation to this
matter.
•
The Minister for the Environment is to take the
necessary action to give effect to Cabinet's decision,
including the preparation of the necessary legislation.
PROPOSED LEGISLATION RELATING TO THE ENTERTAINMENT
INDUSTRY.
Consideration of Cabinet Minute 89-113, dated 4th
April, 1989, submitted by the Minister for Industrial
Relations and Employment in relation to this matter was
deferred.

STATUTE LAW (MISCELLANEOUS PROVISIONS) BILL, 1989
Approval was given to the provisions of the Statute Law
(Miscellaneous Provisons) Bill, 1989, as summarised in
Cabinet Minute 89-164, dated 17th April, 1989, submitted
by the Attorney General in relation to this matter,
subject to:an amendment being made to the Police Regulation
(Allegations of Misconduct) Act, 1978, to provide
that the Commissioner (or Acting Commissioner), and
no other Officer, shall be required to exercise
powers conferred under Section 26 of the Act.
