PROPOSED AMENDMENT OF THE LEGAL PROFESSION ACT, 1987.
Approval was given to the recommendations contained in
Cabinet Minute 89-134, dated 13th April, 1989, submitted
by the Attorney General in relation to this matter,
subject to:*
the deletion of Recommendation 3.3.
The Attorney General is to take the necessary action to
give effect to Cabinet's decision, including the
preparation of the necessary legislation.
PROPOSED AMENDMENT OF THE LEGAL PROFESSION ACT 1987, TO
PERMIT THE INCORPORATION OF LEGAL PRACTICES.
Approval was given to the recommendation contained in
Cabinet Minute 89-155, dated 17th March, 1989, submitted
by the Attorney General in relation to this matter.
The Attorney General is to take the necessarry action to
give effect to Cabinet's decision, including the
preparation of the necessary legislation.

PROPOSED AMENDMENTS TO THE PUBLIC TRUSTEE ACT, 1913 AND
TO THE PROTECTED ESTATES ACT, 1983.
Approval was given to the recommendations contained in
Cabinet Minute 89-131, dated 11th April 1989, submitted
by the Attorney General in relation to this matter,
subject to:*
the removal of the present requirement that fees
charged by the Public Trustee be paid into the
Consolidated Fund.
The Attorney General is to take the necessary action to
give effect to Cabinet's decision, including the
preparation of the necessary legislation.
