PROPOSED AMENDMENT OT THE CO-OPERATION ACT, 1923.
Approval was given to the recommendations contained in
Cabinet Minute 89-135, dated 13th April, 1989, submitted
by the Minister for Business and Consumer Affairs, in
relation to this matter.
The Minister for Business and Consumer Affairs is to
take the necessary action to give effect to Cabinet's
decision, including the preparation of the necessary
legislation.

CRIMES (APPREHENDED VIOLENCE) AMENDMENT BILL, 1989.
Approval was given to the provisions of the Crimes
(Apprehended Violence) Amendment Bill, 1989, as
summarised in Cabinet Minute 89-161, dated 19th April,
1989, submitted by the Attorney General in relation to
this matter.
