PROPOSED AMENDMENTS TO THE LEGAL AID COMMISSION

Approval was given to the recommendations contained in
Cabinet Minute 89-119, dated 7th April, 1989, submitted
by the Attorney General in relation to this matter.
•
The Attorney General is to take the necessary action to
give effect to Cabinet's decision, including the
preparation of the necessary legislation.
PROPOSED AMENDMENT OF THE BUSINESS FRANCHISE LICENCES
(PETROLEUM PRODUCTS) ACT 1987 TO INCREASE FEES TO BE
PAID FOR LICENCES.

Approval was given to the recommendations contained in
Cabinet Minute 89-130, dated 10th April, 1989, submitted
by the Minister for Transport on behalf of the Premier,
Treasurer and Minister for Ethnic Affairs in relation to
this matter, including the preparation of the necessary
legislation, subject to:*
review by the Treasury, in conjunction with the
Roads and Traffic Authority, of the options
available to achieve a reduction in borrowings in
future years.
