INDUSTRIAL AND COMMERCIAL TRAINING BILL, 1989, AND
COGNATE BILLS.
Consideration of the provisions of the Industrial and
Commercial Training Bill, 1989 and Cognate Bills, as
summarised in Cabinet Minute 89-124, dated 10th April,
1989, submitted by the Minister for Industrial Relations
and Employment in relation to this matter was deferred.

AMENDMENT TO THE BAIL ACT, 1989.
Consideration was given to the proposals contained in
Cabinet Minute 89-27, dated, 13th February, 1989,
submitted by the Attorney General, in relation to this
matter.
Cabinet decided that:* recommendation 3.1 (a) be deferred - The Premier
to discuss with the Attorney General.
* recommendations 3.1 (b)and (c) be approved.
The Attorney General is to take the necessary action to
give effect to Cabinet's decision, including the
preparation of the necessary legislation.
