ENVIRONMENTAL PLANNING AND ASSESSMENT (AMENDMENT) BILL,
1989.
Approval was given to the provisions of the
Environmental Planning and Assessment (Amendment) Bill,
1989, as summarised in Cabinet Minute 89-106, dated 30
March 1989, submitted by the Minister for Local
Government, and Planning in relation to this matter,
subject to:* any additions to the list of prescribed
developments being approved by Cabinet
first.

PROPOSED AMENDMENT TO THE PUBLIC FINANCE AND AUDIT ACT,
1983 TO VARY THE TABLING PROCEDURES AND CONTENT OF THE
PUBLIC ACCOUNTS.
Approval was given to the recommendations contained in
Cabinet Minute 89-108, dated 30th March, 1989, submitted
by the Premier, Treasurer and Minister for Ethnic
Affairs in relation to this matter, including the
preparation of the necessary legislation.

PROPOSED LEGISLATION TO RATIFY THE STATE AND NORTHERN
TERRITORY GRANTS (RURAL ADJUSTMENT) AGREEMENTS, 1988.
Approval was given to the recommendation contained in
Cabinet Minute 89-109, dated, 3rd April, 1989, submitted
by the Minister for Agriculture and Rural Affairs, in
relation to this matter.
The Minister for Agriculture and Rural Affairs is to
take the necessary action to give effect to Cabinet's
decision, including the preparation of the necessary
legislation.
