DISPOSAL OF GOAT ISLAND.
Approval was given to the recommendation contained in
Cabinet Minute 89-96, dated 23rd March, 1989, submitted
by the Deputy Premier, Minister for State Development,
and Public Works, in relation to this matter.
The Deputy Premier, Minister for State Development, and
Public Works is to take the necessary action to give
effect to Cabinet's decision.
INDEPENDENT COMMISSION AGAINST CORRUPTION (AMENDMENT)
BILL, 1989, AND COGNATE BILL.

Approval was given to the provisions of the Independent
Commission Against Corruption (Amendment) Bill, 1989,
and Cognate Bill, as summarised in Cabinet Minute
89-105, dated 30th March, 1989, submitted by the Premier
in relation to this matter.
CHILDREN (CRIMINAL PROCEEDINGS) AMENDMENT BILL 1989.
Approval was given to the provisions of the Children
(Criminal Proceedings) Amendment Bill, 1989, as
summarised in Cabinet Minute 89-103, dated 29th March,
1989, submitted by the Attorney General in relation to
this matter.

ENVIRONMENTAL PLANNING AND ASSESSMENT (AMENDMENT) BILL
1989.
Cabinet Minute 89-106, dated 30th March, 1989, submitted
by the Minister for Local Government, and Planning, in
relation to this matter, was referred to the Urban
Development Committee of Cabinet for resolution of the
concerns raised by the Minister for Housing. The
Committee is to report, at first instance, to the
Premier.
LOCAL GOVERNMENT (BORROWING) AMENDMENT BILL 1989.
Approval was given to the provisions of the Local
Government (Borrowing) Amendment Bill 1989, as
summarised in Cabinet Minute 89-111, dated 3rd April,
1989, submitted by the Minister for Local Government,
and Planning, in relation to this matter.
