PROPOSED APPOINTMENT OF DIRECTOR-GENERAL AND DEPUTY
DIRECTOR GENERAL, DEPARTMENT OF CORRECTIVE SERVICES.
Cabinet approved of recommendations being made to the
Governor-in-Council for the following appointments to
the Department of Corrective Services, for terms of
office until they reach the age of 65 years:*
•
Mr. Angus Duncan Graham as Director-General,
commencing on 3rd April, 1989; and
Mr. E.R. (Ross) Nixon as Deputy DirectorGeneral, commencing on 1st April, 1989,
as proposed in Cabinet Minute 89-65, dated 3rd March,
1989, submitted by the Minister for Corrective Services
in relation to this matter.
The Minister for Corrective Services is to take the
necessary action to give effect to Cabinet's decision,
including arrangements for the necessary medical
examinations.
