AMENDMENT TO THE JUSTICES ACT, 1902, THE CHILDREN
(CRIMINAL PROCEEDINGS) ACT 1987 AND THE CRIMES ACT 1900.
Approval was given to the recommendations contained in
Cabinet Minute 89-25, dated 13th February, 1989,
submitted by the Attorney General, in relation to this
matter.
The Attorney General is to take the necessary action to
give effect to Cabinet's decision, including the
preparation of the necessary legislation.

PROPOSED LEGISLATION CONCERNING CRIMINAL PROCEEDINGS IN
THE CHILDREN'S COURT.
Approval was given to the recommendations contained in
Cabinet Minute 89-26, dated 13th February, 1989,
submitted by the Attorney General, in relation to this
matter.
The Attorney General is to take the necessary action to
give effect to Cabinet's decision, including the
preparation of the necessary legislation.
PROPOSED LEGISLATION TO EXCISE LAND FROM NATIONAL PARKS
AND NATURE RESERVES.
Approval was given to the recommendations contained in
Cabinet Minute 89-53, dated 24th February, 1989,
submitted by the Minister for the Environment, in
relation to this matter.
The Minister for the Environment is to take the
necessary action to give effect to Cabinet's decision,
including the preparation of the necessary legislation.
APPOINTMENT OF DEPUTY GENERAL MANAGER, MOTOR ACCIDENTS
AUTHORITY.
Cabinet approved of a recommendation being made by the
Governor-in-Council that Mr. Dallas Wayne Booth be
appointed as Deputy General Manager, Motor Accidents
Authority, for a term of five years, as proposed in
Cabinet Minute 89-64, dated 2nd March, 1989, submitted
by the Attorney General, in relation to this matter.
The Attorney General is to take the necessary action to
give effect to Cabinet's decision, including
arrangements for the necessary medical examination.
