TRADE WASTE PRICING.
Approval was given to the recommendations contained in
Cabinet Minute 89-455, dated 6th December, 1989,
submitted by the Minister for the Environment, in
relation to this matter.
The Minister for the Environment is to take the
necessary action to give effect to Cabinet's decision.

PROPOSED AMENDMENTS TO THE LOCAL GOVERNMENT ACT, 1919 TO
REQUIRE THE FENCING OF NEW PRIVATE SWIMMING POOLS.
Approval was given to the recommendations contained in
Cabinet Minute 89-457, dated 8th December, 1989,
submitted by the Minister for Local Government, and
Planning, in relation to this matter, subject to:*
consultation with the Local Government Association
of New South Wales; and
consultation with the Attorney General during
drafting of the Bill.
The Minister for Local Government, and Planning is to
take the necessary action to give effect to Cabinet's
decision, including the preparation of the necessary
legislation.
