UNIVERSITY OF NEW ENGLAND BILL, 1989 AND COGNATE BILLS.
Cabinet rejected the provisions of the University of New
England Bill, 1989, and Cognate Bills, as summarised in
Cabinet Minute 89-62, dated 1st March, 1989, submitted
by the Minister for Education and Youth Affairs in
relation to this matter.
Cabinet resolved that the proposals are to be released
by the Minister for Education as exposure draft Bills,
with a discussion paper.
