PROCEEDS OF SERIOUS DRUG CRIME.
Approval was given to the recommendations contained in
Cabinet Minute 89-421, dated 20th November, 1989,
submitted jointly by the Premier, Treasurer, and
Minister for Ethnic Affairs, and the Minister for Police
and Emergency Services, in relation to this matter,
including the preparation of the necessary legislation
by the Cabinet Office.

Approval was given to the provisions of the Registration
of Interests in Goods (Amendment) Bill, 1989, as
summarised in Cabinet Minute 89-423, dated 20th
November, 1989, submitted by the Minister for Business
and Consumer Affairs, in relation to this matter.
PAY-ROLL TAX

OF INTERESTS IN GOODS (AMENDMENT)
(AMENDMENT) BILL AND COGNATE BILLS.
Approval was given to the provisions of the Pay-Roll Tax
Amendment Bill, and Cognate Bills, as summarised in
Cabinet Minute 89-417, dated 17th November, 1989,
submitted by the Premier, Treasurer, and Minister for
Ethnic Affairs, in relation to this matter.
STATE EMERGENCY AND RESCUE MANAGEMENT BILL,
1989.
Approval was given to the provisions of the State
Emergency and Rescue Management Bill, 1989, as
summarised in Cabinet Minute 89-389, dated 9th November,
1989, submitted by the Minister for Police and Emergency
Services, in relation to this matter, subject to:*
Clause 33 being amended to provide for the Premier
to declare a state of emergency.
