PROPOSAL TO AMEND C1.25 OF THE ENVIRONMENTAL OFFENCES
AND PENALTIES BILL.
Cabinet rejected proposals to amend the Environmental
Offences and Penalties Bill in the Legislative Council,
as outlined in Cabinet Minute 89-344, dated 13th
October, 1989, submitted by the Minister for the
Environment, in relation to this matter.
POLICE REGULATION (IMPOSITION OF CHARGES) AMENDMENT
BILL, 1989.
•
Approval was given to the provisions of the Police
Regulation (Imposition of Charges) Amendment Bill, 1989,
as summarised in Cabinet Minute 89-343, dated 13th
October, 1989, submitted by the Minister for Police and
Emergency Services, in relation to this matter, subject
to
Minister for Police and Emergency Services
clarifying that the prescription of new services
for charging only be by way of regulation.

PROPOSED AMENDMENT OF THE TRUSTEE COMPANIES ACT,
1964.
Approval was given to the recommendations contained in
Cabinet Minute 89-340, dated 9th October, 1989,
submitted by the Attorney General, in relation to this
matter.
The Attorney General is to take the necessary action to
give effect to Cabinet's decision, including the
preparation of the necessary legislation.
