PROPOSED AMENDMENT TO THE SUMMARY OFFENCES ACT, 1988 AND
THE CRIMES ACT 1900.
Approval was given to the recommendations contained in
Cabinet Minute 89-272, dated 11th August, 1989,
submitted by the Attorney General, in relation to this
matter.
The Attorney General is to take the necessary action to
give effect to Cabinet's decision, including the
preparation of the necessary legislation.

PROPOSED LEGISLATION TO RE-CONSTITUTE THE BOARD OF
DIRECTORS OF THE NSW FEDERATION OF POLICE CITIZENS YOUTH
CLUBS.
Approval was given to the recommendations contained in
Cabinet Minute 89-315, dated 18th September, 1989,
submitted by the Minister for Police and Emergency
Services, in relation to this matter, subject to:-

one of the Board positions being nominated by the
Minister for Sport and Recreation, and Racing.
Cabinet also decided that the Minister for Police and
Emergency Services is to release the Report of the
Ministerial Advisory Committee on Police Citizens Youth
Clubs, and inform Cabinet of the response.
The Minister for Police and Emergency Services is to
take the necessary action to give effect to Cabinet's
decision, including the preparation of the necessary
legislation.
