PROPOSED AMENDMENTS TO THE DAIRY INDUSTRY ACT,
1979.
Approval was given to the recommendations contained
in Cabinet Minute 89-326, dated 28th September,
1989, submitted jointly by the Minister for
Agriculture and Rural Affairs, and the Minister for
Business and Consumer Affairs, in relation to this
matter.
•
The Minister for Agriculture and Rural Affairs is
to take the necessary action to give effect to
Cabinet's decision, including the preparation of
the necessary legislation.
PROPOSED LEGISLATION FOR REDUCTION OF LICENCES FOR
FOOD PREMISES.
•
Consideration of Cabinet Minute 89-304, dated 30th
August, 1989, submitted jointly by the Minister for
Business and Consumer Affairs, and the Minister for
Local Government, and Planning, in relation to this
matter, was deferred.
