CO-ORDINATOR GENERAL PROJECT-FEASIBILITY STUDY FOR
NEWSPRINT MILL USING RECYCLED PAPER.
Approval was given to the recommendation contained in
Cabinet Minute 89-334, dated 5th October, 1989,
submitted by the Deputy Premier, Minister for State
Development, and Public Works, in relation to this
matter.
Cabinet also decided that the Roads and Traffic
Authority is to be included in the Feasibility Study.

The Deputy Premier, Minister for State Development, and
Public Works, is to take the necessary action to give
effect to Cabinet's decision.
ESTABLISHMENT OF A PUBLIC SECTOR TELECOMMUNICATIONS UNIT
WITHIN THE DEPARTMENT OF ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICES.
Approval in principle was given to the recommendations
contained in Cabinet Minute 89-325, dated 28th
September, 1989, submitted by the Minister for
Administrative Services, in relation to this matter.

Cabinet also decided that implementation is to await the
outcome of a decision on the project.
The Minister for Administrative Services is to take the
necessary action to give effect to Cabinet's decision.
PROPOSED APPOINTMENT OF CHAIRPERSONS, GOVERNMENT AND
RELATED EMPLOYEES APPEAL TRIBUNAL.
Consideration of Cabinet Minute 89-319, dated 22nd
September, 1989, submitted by the Attorney General, in
relation to this matter was deferred.
Cabinet decided that the Premier's Department was to
provide a Paper on reforms to G.R.E.A.T. for the next
Meeting.
