APPEAL RIGHTS AGAINST COUNCIL REFUSAL TO REZONE FOR TWO
STOREY MULTI-UNIT HOUSING.
Approval was given to the recommendations contained in
Cabinet Minute 89-39, dated 20th February, 1989,
submitted by the Minister for Local Government, and
Planning, in relation to this matter, subject to:* consultation with the Minister for Housing
and the Attorney General in the drafting
of the Bill.

The Minister for Local Government, and Planning is to
take the necessary action to give effect to Cabinet's
decision, including the preparation of the necessary
legislation.
PROPOSED AMENDMENTS TO THE CONSTITUTION ACT, 1902.
Approval was given to the recommendations contained in
Cabinet Minute 89-42, dated 20th February, 1989,
submitted by the Premier, Treasurer and Minister for
Ethnic Affairs, in relation to this matter, including
the preparation of the necessary legislation.
PROPOSED WILDERNESS - EDEN REGION.

Approval was given to the recommendations contained in
Cabinet Minute 89-44, dated, 21st February, 1989,
submitted jointly by the Minister for Natural Resources,
and the Minister for the Environment, in relation to
this matter.
The Minister for Natural Resources, and the Minister for
the Environment, are to take the necessary action to
give effect to Cabinet's decision.
